New Blog by Fourkas: Greetings

Hello everyone,

and welcome to my blog... This being the first message posted, I would like to introduce myself.
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1982, I was given lately the nickname of "Fourkas". For those who know me, this name means something, for those who don't know me, they will soon find out.

Let me tell you a few more things about myself. I spent my undergraduate years in Boston, stuyding international relations and economics. At the end of 2004, I left America to continue my studies at the LSE in London... In 2005 I got my Master's degree in European political economy and I am now in the process of applying for doctoral programs. It is now June and in Thessaloniki the temperature is rising, calling all of us for a swim at the nearest beach.

I do not even know why I just signed up for this blog however, everything has a beginning and I hope that in the course of things, I will find interesting stuff and some thoughts and comments to share with everybody out there!
